Discover What the Chamber does, the key reasons behind our growth,
and why now’s the time to join.
More and more businesses are joining the Revelstoke Chamber because they’re seeing the value - not just in the benefits and services we offer, but in how we help strengthen Revelstoke as a place to live, work & play.
On this page, you’ll find an in-depth look at our work, why we keep growing, how we support our members, and how becoming a member contributes to a stronger, more connected business community.

Membership is more functional, valuable, and visible
Starting in 2023, we started making operational improvements to help streamline our processes, allowing us more time to focus on what matters. We also made a conscious effort to keep membership accessible for business and organizations of all sizes, helping more of the community participate.
What does that look like in practice?
Introducing the Member Portal: a member-exclusive interface that centralizes access to events, benefits, and resources
Implementing a structured onboarding ‘drip campaign’ that gradually introduces new members to the team, key opportunities, benefits, and resources from the moment they join, helping them engage right away
Streamlining how opportunities and event partnerships are presented, making it easier for members to find information and get involved
Keeping our membership dues lower than the average in BC
That same commitment to accessibility extended beyond our internal systems and membership, influencing how we connect with the wider community:
Increased presence on social media and in the community
More direct engagement, listening to what matters to local businesses
Our growth in 2024 gained us national recognition as one of the fastest growing Chambers in Canada.
This growth continued in 2025, ranking us amongst the fastest growing Chambers in Canada again.
Connection & Collaboration
We remain committed to offering events that reflect the needs of Revelstoke’s business community, creating spaces to connect, learn, and celebrate.
Our events are a key part of why businesses join the Chamber, with members enjoying free or discounted event registrations. They are more than just gatherings - they offer connection, community, and valuable visibility through sponsorship opportunities.
Our recurring events include:
Signature Events such as the BEAs, Golf Tournament and Banff Mountain Film Festival
Monthly Networking events - our morning Coffee Connections and after-hours Business Après
Educational sessions and workshops - providing opportunities to learn from experts and explore topics relevant to local business
Partnerships that Strengthen Our Work
Collaboration is central to how we work as a Chamber, and we actively look for opportunities to partner with our members and the wider business community, inviting members to reach out with ideas. Through this approach, we aim to inspire other businesses to connect and collaborate with each other.
We also work closely with business support organizations such as Community Futures and WeBC, creating partnerships that expand the opportunities available to local businesses. These collaborations allow us to deliver stronger programming, reach more businesses, and connect our members with additional resources and expertise.
Supporting the wider community
While our work is rooted in supporting our members, we recognize that their success is closely tied to the strength of the wider community. This understanding influences how we shape and deliver our programs.
The Ambassador Program is open to employees across all roles and sectors, not just tourism. This reflects the reality of a resort municipality, where all employees shape the visitor experience
Through initiatives like our Workforce Hub and partnerships offering free skills training, we help job seekers find work, build skills, and settle into Revelstoke, supporting a strong and stable workforce as a part of a healthy community.
Our buy-local campaigns welcome non-members, at no cost to them
Our Opportunity Hubs are free and accessible to all local businesses, with strong usage reflecting their value as a connection point
The Women’s Leadership Collective supports, elevates, and connects women in business and leadership roles across all of Revelstoke
We refocused the ‘Business’ aspect of the Business and Visitor Information Centre, to better reflect its role as an inclusive business resource - not just a tourism touchpoint, but a space that supports all local business sectors and connects both visitors and residents alike to local information and services.
Supporting the wider community isn’t a departure from our role, it’s an essential part of it. A strong, connected Revelstoke lifts every business. Becoming a member is one of the most impactful ways to support these programs, and in doing so, you’re investing in a more connected, resilient business community that benefits everyone.

Advocacy: have your say
As the voice of business in Revelstoke, the Chamber works to ensure local business interests are heard at every level of government, from Revelstoke to Victoria to Ottawa.
Our advocacy starts by listening to our members, identifying shared challenges, and working through committees and conversations to turn those concerns into action.
Recent advocacy work includes:
Ongoing work to address local tax issues, resulting in a shift that reduced the burden on businesses
Formation of a Resort Municipality Chambers Coalition, strengthening collaboration and advocacy across similar communities
A Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) survey, engaging local businesses to better understand challenges and opportunities, informing further advocacy priorities and areas we can cater our support to

Our events, programs, opportunities, and advocacy show what Chamber membership is all about:
Support
Exposure
Connection
Representation
While our work creates value for the broader community, it’s our members who shape the direction, and benefit most from what we’re building.
We’re continuing to build on this momentum, expanding the tools, support, and opportunities that help our members thrive.
